Hello TPE Nation, Sorry I have not been around as much recently but the Christmas Holidays and New Years celebrations have taken alot of my free time away. Now that things have settled again I'll be back to updating this blog regularly from here on out. So what have I been doing over the Christmas break? I have been getting up close and personal with my new Heads Up Display that I purchased as a Christmas gift to myself. Hi guys, I just purchased my first Heads Up Display . Since I run a Mac I chose Poker CoPilot and I have been nothing but impressed so far. There are so many great things about this program I don't know where to begin. I highly recommend it if you are a Mac user and are looking for a native Heads Up Display. First off I would like to congratulate TPE Member xxsosickxx who finished 2nd in MiniFTOPS Event # 32. We were all railing and cheering him on from the last few hundred players down to the final table. It was an amazing run and we are all very proud of him. The shoutouts to Tournament Poker Edge on the final table were awesome and the banter between da_professional and xxsosickxx was very entertaining!! LOL The chat room had upwards of 40 members yesterday with Killingbird handing out stakes left, right and center. I was staked for a $5.50 $20k guar on Pokerstars. 12.12.10 Greetings TPE, Just updated my blog and somehow lost it…fantastic lol. I played event # 11 today which was as $12+1 / $250,000 Guarantee. Managed to double early with KK to about 11k and then everything went south from there. Open shoved AKs from MP with less then 10bb's and got called by 99 in the HJ and he turned a 9…standard..yawn.. On a more positive note – I managed to ship a few more seats into Event # 13 which is a $33 / $450,00 Guarantee but honestly, I don't feel the desire to try and wade through 25/30 thousand players so i'm just going to un-register and take the Tournament Dollars instead. Hello TPE nation. I have created my first TPE Video for the site. My first video will be a $1.55 Satellite into MiniFTOPS # 11. Click the link below to view the video. Please note that there is a 100MB upload restriction so I had to sort of hurry though the hand history. As you all know by now, the Full Tilt Poker MiniFTOPS XVIII series has begun. This is a very exciting time for me as I don't have the bankroll to play FTOPS events so the Mini is right up my alley. I also plan on playing a lot of low buy-in satellites into the NLHE events (and will be creating a few test instructional videos for the blog) over the next few weeks.
