It took me two days to fly to Vegas. I was set to fly out Tuesday, however my flight was canceled due to weather in NYC. They rebooked for Wednesday morning. I get on the plane and we sit on the runway for ~30min. I sleep most of the flight, waking up as the pilot announced our descent into Detroit. I look at my phone; it’s 11:50. Looking at my boarding pass, my flight boards at 11:45 and takes off at 12:25. I tell the flight attendant and he says, “well, you’re going to miss that!” We land and taxi to some gate in the C terminal. I get off with ~10min until my flight takes off and see that it takes off at the very last gate in terminal A. I run. And run. I walk a bit, and then run some more. I make it to the gate as they’re preparing to close the door, and just barely make it on. Then we sit on the runway for ~45min. But I’m here. My friend Augie picked me up and we went over to halo’s. Augie left and we played online and then grilled some steaks. Ran some errands today and am finally settled.
