Hey guys!

Happy New Years! 🙂

Like the title of this post says it’s been a while… I was incredibly busy these past few months, University requires decent amount hours also at my free time I was grinding and also involved in some other activities. I went for trip to USA at December and spend there almost a month, we were road tripping and exploring the country.  We drew 7,200 miles which is kind of exhausting… Nonetheless I seen so many beautiful places that it was worth putting that effort. I visited Las Vegas for the first time in my life, I got to say… Wow, I don’t know the moment we got there my heart started to beat faster, we been there for few days and celebrated New Year’s eve, which was super fun!

So let’s make a short review for 2013.

It was a decent year, I did travel a lot, seen many beautiful places… became a part of this amazing poker school, also I feel that I improved my personality and poker game play.

Statistics of 2013

2013

I didn’t met my expectations, which obviously is my fault and I must put more effort this year to become top reg.

New Year is always feels like a fresh start, at least for me it does, I already made a list for my 2014 goals and it really inspires me.  I know it will be challenging as now I’m involved in so many activities : full time poker player, full time student, instructor at Tournament Poker Edge, private coach, also I do have girl which requires attention and I need some free time for sport activities as I feel it’s vital for online poker players. So yes it’s challenging, but I’m rather be that person that doesn’t have much of a free time than that dude on the coach with beer bottle watching TV and complaining that there is not much to do…

Here is my public goal list for 2014.

Poker related:

  1. 5-6 hours of game analysis per week (HH Reviews with my friends, Private coaching, Creating series for TPE – All these are improving my game.)
  2. 3-4 days (40h+) per week schedule for poker grind while I’m studying, then 5-6 days (55h+) / week from the start of May.
  3. SuperNova status (If I will be playing all the high-stake games by the summer then 2x SuperNova).
  4. Activity in poker forum discussions (Strategy based).
  5. At least few attendances in international live poker tournaments (I hope I could starting playing EPT’s this year).
  6. New poker grind station (More ergonomic).
  7. 6+ Series for Tournament Poker Edge.

Others :

  1. Read books – At least 8 this year (Psychology, financial).
  2. Improve my English.
  3. Eat healthy.
  4. Gym 3 days/week, jogging at least 2 days/week.
  5. First grade for this year at university.
  6. Remove – tomorrow/later attitude.

I came back from USA to Lithuania Friday 10th of January, then on Sunday flew back to London, to play a first poker session after a while. Decided to go easy and play 8-10 tables, managed to get few deep runs, but nothing decent. Played also Monday and Tuesday, so yeah I’m ready to put some serious effort to achieve this years goals.

I did some improvements relating game selection, were testing it before my holidays, it seems that it’s working and I’m really happy about it. Also I almost finished my third series for TPE so it should come up pretty soon, I hope you guys enjoy it!

PokerStars TCOOP (Turbo Championship Of  Online Poker) starts next week, I’m pretty excited about it, I got few really deep runs at these series last year, so will be doing my best to go further this year.

Alright guys that’s it for now, I’m wishing you happy New Year!
