Long ago, I heard this old codger say during a live tourney that he would only play aces it they were suited. Liked this so well that we adopted the name when available.
Decided to get back to live play and went to Brighton, FL, Gator Country nearly on Lake Ockechobee. Was so nervous, couldn’t count chips or Big Blinds. When I finally raised first in, another old guy, I’m 71, asked “Did you have Kings?” My reply was Kings no, but I’d play aces if they were suited.
