dude no offence but this is awfull content omg. a bit of advice, people dont want to see all these pointless hands were you just fold your random rags, you should write out the hand number and what you want to comment on before hand. you should pause camtasia in between hands. You should cut out more of the time when you are saying uhhhh or laughin ur ass off and more actualy meaningfull commentary. Watch the gingers new series and take some notes. no offence

dude this video was amazing, we love seeing every hand so in order for us to get a better feeling of the game flow and dynamics, Your ability to lead us through the vid is excellent and i love your on the spot thinking and approach as this is how the game is played, love your insight in between hands and your general honesty and how your incredible personalty shines through as you record, I can now see why the ginger makes such great vids after learning from the best.

Sorry you feel that way. When you say “people”, who exactly are you referring to other than yourself? Some people do like to see what “random rags” I am folding so they can relate and feel re-assured that this is correct in their game. As well, many members are here for entertainment and to enjoy themselves in their learning experience. Different instructors are going to suit different members. If you wish for strictly explanatory content-based commentary videos, you should head on over to the new Stop and Go section.

I disagree with op: i think the folds of random hands are an important part of a hh to understand not only the dinamics at the table but also to learn how to dose aggression…what i agree on though, is that this time danny did lose a little bit too much time with the pt4 replayer ( you agree that you could hav e “played” with it a little bit to get use to it before recording the video…) and didnt focus on making a video full of strategic content that people can learn from but rather focused on giving a “narration” (a pleasent one i might say, because you can see from the video you are a nice guy) of the tourney showing us what happends in it but actually not teaching us anything in particular…so is this “awfull content” ? NO i dont think so. the awfull videos are others (imo bigdog’s are the worst, but i see other people here that actually like his series so, maybe it’s just me) . Is this good content? no i dont think so either but it’s “watchable”, it’s decent. Anyway Im sure danny can and will do a much better job in the next series, because he too also wants to deliver not just “decent” videos but great ones…I have faith in you danny =)

Hey Riar! Thanks for your comment as constructive criticism is always welcome! Fwiw, part 1’s of HH’s there isn’t a wholeeee lot to teach imo other than opening ranges from each position early in a tournament, 3 betting ranges, extracting value in played hands and a few other things. I would be more than happy to hear some thoughts on how to improve my part 1’s and what to teach, and how, rather than narrate as you said. I hope you find I deliver better on the other parts of this series and feedback is definitely appreciated!

Hey Danny, i think my main suggestion would be not only focusing on our actually holdings but to also talk about our range…so if you open AK from utg, bb defends and the flop comes A38 : i would like to hear that you would c bet with AK AQ AJ 33 88 , then that you check back KK QQ with the intention of calling once, while with T9s or air in general you would check back to fold if opponent bets (im making stuff up just to make my thoughs clear) …also another thing that seems “stupid” or boring but i think is underrated is ALWAYS EXPLAINING WHY you do things even when a thing seems “standard” using the previous examples : i would like to hear that you c bet with AK because in villains range there are a lot of Ax worst than your that can call you bet…Now i know this may seem obvious because i chose a super easy example but in many cases things are not gonna be this easy…oh and another thingi usually do that is always asking myself ” what i would do on later streets if i get raised/shoved on”

Different strokes for different folks.I like the fact TPE has plenty of choice when it comes to the style of the instructors.Much as I sometimes enjoy an in depth Andrew Brokos or Ginger vid, most of the time I prefer the more snappy style of Danny or the BigDog.
