Diamonds and dust
Poor man last
Rich man first
Lamborghini’s, caviar
Dry martini’s, Shangrila
I got a burnin’ feeling
Deep inside of me
It’s a yearnin’
But I’m gonna set it free
I’m goin’ in
To sin city
I’m gonna win
In sin city
Where the lights are bright
Do the town tonight
I’m gonna win
In sin city

Well, it’s about that time. Off to beautiful Las Vegas for the 2014 World Series of Poker. It’s been said before, but the WSOP is like summer camp for poker players. If you have never done it, and you love poker, you have to make the trip. Add it to your bucket list and make it happen!

This is going to be an exciting summer. In the past I have always played just one or two WSOP events and primarily focused on smaller buyin events like The Venetian or The Wynn series. But this year I’m taking things to a new level…at least for me!

I’ll be playing almost exclusively WSOP events with a few Rio Dailys sprinkled in. There is a chance I’ll throw in a couple events at the Aria, but that I will just play by ear. Among the events I am playing are the Millionaire Maker, The Monster Stack and, for the first time in my life, the Main Event!

Doubt I could be much more excited. As always, I will be updating regularly on Twitter, so follow me there if you want to keep up with the action. And, as we have done in the past, we will be recording podcasts from the TPE house that we call TPE Live. This is where we provide updates on how everyone in the house is doing in the events, and of course mix in some fun stories.

I’m looking forward to hanging with the TPE crew, and meeting up with a ton of TPE members, so hit me up if you are going to be in town. I’m always down for beers!

Good luck to everyone who is playing this summer. As a reminder, make sure you use the hashtag #TPEdge when you tweet so the TPE nation can keep up with your progress.

Safe travels and big cards!

By now you’re balls deep in WSOP, but good luck with the rest of your stay in vegas!! Hope there’s some more TPE live stuff before it’s over!
