Really nice sweat. A shame that your AA couldn’t hold against these kings in the brawl, would have loved to see a deep run. Your way to play always amazes: no HUD, a little tilt-based decicion making here and there, but your hand reading is sickingly accurate. And your results speak for themselfes obviously. Now record one with a FT run on a sunday!
Oh btw: I think 3- 5 tables at once is the ideal number to ensure high informaton value and still avoid any boardom.

Enjoyed this 4-part series, shame to bust out of the Brawl like that. Although Live Sweats can never contain the highest levels of analysis and thinking, I enjoy Casey’s commentary and real-time analysis. Very useful, thanks BigDog!

    Casey,

I’ve just finished watching a couple of your video series, the two Sunday Million chops and then this Sunday Funday. I liked them a lot and I thought they were very insightful. However I have a question. In several of your tables you seem to resort to playing “personal poker”, i.e. – trying to get into pots, sometimes with marginal holdings, maybe out of position, against a villain simply because he may have sucked out on you earlier, or whatever the reason may be. I always thought one of the fastest ways to go broke was to play “personal poker” where you are trying to target one individual out of spite. Do you agree? Or is this just part of the BigDog’s game?

Agree with Yolky. You have to be able to remove yourself from a vendetta type mentality. Perhaps when you’ve crushed everything, bought a car and a house and put your kids through college and you still have a mill or so in the roll you can indulge in that kind of thinking (or thinking of it if you have other business interests like say… hmmm… a poker training site to keep you rolled?) its permissable, but you surely can’t be advising folk to think like that? On the plus side Casey I’d read a couple of negative reviews of your vids, (not just yours mind you), but in fact i like your style it is preferable to me than those who drone on about polarized ranges and equity percentages in 3bet pots and all that mumbo jumbo.

Casey, love your videos. Please do some more, soon. What a shame, very ugly, lots of pain. At least I can feel with you, happens to me all the time.

Love your videos. I hope there are more, real soon. Too bad about the aces. Has happened to me sooooo many times.
