Great run Danny. I railed you live in this tournament and I was surprised you shoved in this spot and was eagerly awaiting your video to see what your view would be on the way you shoved the river.
I am surprised at your explanation for the shove. I hope I am not been results orientated here, but I think a call is a better play. Maybe villian bet so small because he thought 875,000 was the most you would call with a worse hand than his or maybe he was inducing a shove. He could have been doing both with this size bet.
What worse hands did you think you were going to get called by. Maybe A 10 or A Q.
I am a fishy player and maybe I am way off the mark here but I think it was a bad shove

It’s hard not to be results oriented here. If you don’t know what he has and put yourself in my shoes in the moment, along with my read as to what I thought the 875K bet meant, you may have a different opinion. I thought the shove looks the most like a bluff and is most likely to get hero called. I didn’t think the 875K was inducing as I didn’t think that player would be capable of pulling off such a bet and would bet for value all day in that spot. After I double barrel, I assumed a better full house would just bet 1/2 pot ish and take the call since it’s likely I have something. Nice bet by him, he got me IMO.

Love FT hole card exposure – especially shorthanded as we get to discuss wide opening and calling ranges

    Loved this series!

Why shove the last hand though? I can’t see anyone calling with worse even if they think you are bluffing, with ICM. Why not just pop it up a little and fold to a shove? Only boats and crazy bluffs are shoving right? …and there are no worse boats as crazy as it is.
    ul, nice run!
