Like your video, very thorough for the most part.

I am trying to summarize in my head what strategies were learned for this vid and what I come up with after watching those hands was that even with over-pairs, you need to be very cautious and pay attention to others bet sizes and whatnot.

I always believed that flopping an over-pair of lets say JJ-AA was a great spot to be in as I myself have donked off many chips to ppl with over-pairs when holding TPTK….but you seem to approach holding over-pairs much more cautiously when being played back on.

This is probably one of my leaks as I would usually try to get all my chips in post-flop here with an over-pair almost no matter what :/

Am I pretty much correct with the summary regarding the strategies for this video or did I miss somethings?

more or less correct, i’d say.

i guess the main point of the video is to get you away from the “OMG i haz an overpair” mindset and into thinking more about board texture, bet-sizing and ranging your opponent.

there are always times when you should be auto-stacking off with an overpair or top pair, but there are also spots where doing so is a big mistake.

I like that you didnt include the results which would influence the thoughts on the hands…much more thought provoking when we cant justify our incorrect play with a positive outcome.

Your hand analysis is second to none of anyone on the site! The depth you go into the villains head from EVERY perspective is amazing and like with all your videos, has opened doors in my mind again! Thank you!!!
