I totally would like to see more live sweats, it really puts in perspective some tough decisions in-game that are often overlooked. Great series!

Why do you say that? I think it’s a good spot to bet small with full range. I don’t really have bluffs, there are plenty of hands like the one I have where I don’t want to play a big pot, it’s still enough to put stacks in play on the river if I do have a monster…

It’s true that you wont have many bluffs here, but it also true that you wont have much of a range at all here because i dont see many hands you would flat from utg1 vs 2.5x open from utg of a 25bb in a KO tourney.
In this case arent we giving him correct odds to call with any pair+draw/ oe+fd ?

(what are you doing if on the turn, monkey folds and OR shoves ? I based my comment on the assumption that you would have crying called right ?)

i agree with Riar, bet bigger on the turn with AA. If one villain had happened to have K9 and the other had QhJ then you have to dodge like 18 outs to take the pot

    tazz,

I’d say that’s a reason to bet smaller. My equity doesn’t get better as a result of a large bet. I mean, it’s far from a certainty that I have the best hand at all. I need to get called by weak hands if I’m going to be ahead of their calling ranges. Generally the more merged your range, the smaller your bet size should be. Large bets are for polarized ranges.

Danm you Nipe!!!!! I like the live series well done! Wouldn’t mind seeing another. The zoom game on the side is entertaining and informative. Maybe just stick with 2 tables? Wasn’t slow for me.

I really enjoyed this series as well. The cash game portion made it an even sweeter deal.

Getting a sense of how you confront and process situations in the moment is invaluable.

Believe it or not it is pretty entertaining too!
