Hi TPE!

I´ve started to play 18-man on stars.. Am I running like a god, or is it sustainable?

I´ve a long backround in poker, I´ve played part time since 2004 where my most winnings comes from deep-stack live cash games, and tournaments (Really soft here in sweden). My online cash career haven´t been that good, never play them anymore (tilt issues ;)). My online career started of well this year where I played rush tournaments and HU sngs on Full Tilt… You all know why I can´t play there anymore.

So now i´ve found my game on stars, 18-man turbos.

I´v played about 130 tournaments, 4-6 tableing (10-15 sessions). Concentrating to keep notes and track my opponents. I allways finnish my 4-6 tournaments befoore i start any new ones. Finding that I have an edge in the late stages if I concentrate on 1-2 tables.

The regs on the 18-man seems to be on the tight side and I found it easy to play against them. The multitableing regs seems to have ROIs between 4-and 10%.

I Have manage to get a ROI of 45% total on 130 tournies (7 and 15$), and a ROI of 85% on 15$ (50 tournies).

Does anybody know what a sustainable ROI is on this games, because they seems to be very soft in my oppinion. People have issues in good push fold strategies, and they spew of to much in the early stages.

Maybe DannyN13 have a good idea of this ;)?

Thank you TPE for helping me improving my game!

Great job Skurtram 🙂

I do way better in tourneys than in sng and both volumewise as for results I am not doing too well anymore anyway this year. So more study!!

As far as requesting vids on 18 man sng, I second that and maybe adding 27 man at stars too? For me it would not necessarily  have to be turbos though. The regulars would be great too for me… but I am happy with any material to learn more about sng. Marc Allioto put in his great series on dons, so maybe this would be a nice sequel to plan for?

My problem in sng's might be staying too agressive after gaining big stack or chiplead, which is the case rather often. Maybe protecting my stack a bit better till the bubble and stepping off the gaz might be a good idea for me 🙂
