Hey guys,

When I haven't got time to play a full on MTT session I have been smashing through a bunch of these, I've got from $80 to $300 playing 15 of them at the $15 and $30 level just messing about.

Quite enjoy them but wanted to know if anyone plays these properly, grinds them to build a role/living etc….

If so then what's an average ROI and a good ROI, what sort of roll:buy in ratio do you need, are there any vids?

Think MTT's will still be what I want to play but when I have an hour or 2 to spare these are a fun way to pass the time and also if they can produce a decent ROI then all the better.

Wouldn't really be able to give you specific numbers, but from my experience the stakes you are playing are beatable and would definitely want to have rakeback/good vip status on whatever site you are playing them on very important. Pretty sure bigdog has a hu hyper turbo video where he plays them on lock. They are high variance obv where you are flipping a ton so you definitely want 50-100 buyins as per usual I would assume. Hope this is a start for you. Also maybe check out jhub3000's blog google it and I am sure you will find it. He is a lock pro and I am pretty sure he focuses on them for a living atm, blog might have something in there about them.

Thanks for that Danny, I'm playing them on stars at the moment, do all of us mere mortals i.e. not pro's etc… just have the same vip scheme on there to just try and grind as close to SNE as possible? Or is there something I can do to get a better VIP scheme?

On Stars there is really nothing you can do as far as VIP scheme goes. If for instance you were start playing on Lock you would want to take advantage of Bigdog's deal as it gets you the percs as he says in his tweets. Also, make sure to check out Bigdog's video I think it may be two parts of him playing HU Super turbos live on lock and a pretty good video.
