Ok SeeYourSoul, sorry for the late reply but have been both super busy and a little unwell.

What you are talking about is a common trend in all people, not just poker players. This aspect fo our personality seems to only be triggered when we begin to shoot for the stars in our pursuits. What we have to look at doing, is building a empowering sub-conscious to have the faith in your ability, work ethic and allow you to stay out of your own way and just play!

For example, if you want to be great, but are not really putting in the volume of either playing, or studying the game to become better, it is almost impossible to build an empowering sub-conscious.

My video program talks of ways to build this empowering sub-conscious via Visualisation, Goal setting and positive affirmations.

I believe that it is these aspects that maybe currently lacking in your process to become a better poker player, as well as the strength of mind to be able to stay in the HERE & NOW!!

You can join the website and check out article and video content for FREE or subscribe to the Video program for $99 12 months. If your interested go to .....eam.com.au and check it out.

Great Question BTW!!!!

Hy, I thought about this issue a lot lately and figured I ask your thoughts on this topic.
I'm talking about believing in myself to the fullest when it comes to poker- I'm not talking about my ego coming over the top and reaching a state when I don't feel the need to improve, but a state when I am ready for battle and feel confident without the fear of not succeeding.

I can't stop thinking about the things I "can't" do, but then again lately I'm trying more and more to break this block down, to let my mind believe that I am capable of anything. I want to break this invisible wall down, and I know its there and affecting my preformance.

I want to shatter my limited beliefs and be ready to skyrocket without my own mind chaining me to the ground. Imo this part of the game is just as important and maybe more important than theory and practical knowledge. Somehow I feel this is the part where most people fail in poker, all-in-all its an easy game, but just being able to deal with the issues that it brings up truly takes a great mental approach.

Anyways looking forward to your feedback
