Anyone else playing that? I have been looking trough all the bigdogs vids and also the TPE university course 3 for the mid game so hope to have fixed my leaks... mostly problem seem to have been in the fact at playing on times that i dont have actually time... 

 

So game selection for me means game time selection into times that can focus for the next 4-8 hours and not just a 2 hour grind...

Also effecting home life so gona take a break from playing and just concentrating getting my mindset back to focus and give more time to the family.

during the break will try to focus on my mid stages of the tournament.

Have been running now a good early stages but then busting at the 2-3 hour mark from top 10%. this has been happening alot. might be just variance but might be also a leak so will work on that.

Only dissapointed that the way I dropped out. I was loosing my stack since I was card dead most of the turney with out the time that got 3 times KK in within 5 hands. Got always all in and won it every time. But other than that i was just taking my spots and keeping up my stack Nothing fancy.

 

But suddenly I was down to 22k and blinds are in the 2,5k. I decide to showe back from the BB when got a late position rase. I looked at the stats that the player was really tight and had a 100k stack. Decided to push anyway and met his Kings... no help for my Q8... Defenetly a stupid push and I had the read correct that If he would happen to call I would be way behind. And still had the stack to wait atleast half an orbit...

No waiting for the Micro Millions series to start.. .until then trying to educate myself...

The table had a lot of limpers and that why made a 3x bet preflop to make people to pay to see the flop and still got 3 callers.

 

I had the button on a range that would give him top pair, A10 or K10 or a straight draw on the board. I also made my flop bet big enough so that it might be looking that I have only over cards. but deffenetly would have liked to take the pot on the flop but also would be happy to call the BB if he pushed. I was sure that if he would be holdin QQ, KK or AA he would have 3 bet preflop, and if he would happen to have a set then be it. But as it turn out I new I was ahead but got run over. But the hand went just like I had planned. The outcome was not what I wanted but you cant have it all. Right.

I will try to make my goals public so I have some peer presure...

first the goals and then some expelantions...

 

1. Not to go broke

2. Get more final table finnishes

3. 1 live event for 2014

4. Better mental game after winning

5. Fold more hands that have been beaten

6. Be better player.

 

So I started to play again this year after years of beeing idle and noticed that still had some skill left in poker but also that the game has evolved. I play mainly online from europe. I started to play freerolls after christmas and won some tournaments and came also 3rd on a 10 000 grt freeroll with 8500 players and that gave me 600$ bankroll

I decided to move half of the bankroll to Pokerstars and started to play there.

So basically first goal is to keep going without the need to do new deposits.

After coming to pokerstars I have been able to get to final table couple of times but still looking for more. I used to play so that I would get in the money but hope to change my goal to winning and not just cashing. 

I have playd live only couple of home games and once in a small casino. I really would like to take part in one of the bigger events just to get the feel for it.

Mental game leak I have noticed is that when ever I win big after that my game changes too much and I become almost a gambler. Like after the 600$ win I lost half of that in one week because I started to play everything and especially the big tournaments. Also too loose and not really keeping my play in tact.

After moving to PS i got couple of final table in smaller tournaments and a 5th place finnish and 3k price in a 25k GTD and did the same thing with that win and have been playing too loose ever since. So my roll is now 1k and I have whidrawn 1k to another account. So my goal in mental game is to keep playing normally winning or loosing.

Relating to this I have noticed that I am starting to read opponents hads pretty good but still not able to fold even I see I am beaten.. too curious nature...  Have to learn to fold.

But there... will try to keep you updated on the developments and let see how it goes.
