Hi fellow TPE members !

I am 24 years old and I’ve been playing on Pokerstars since 2008 under NeverEnough5. My results have been somehow good so far while I mostly played part-time. I completed my college degree in May 2013 and worked during a whole summer to build a bankroll big enough to handle the low/mid stakes mtt downswings.

I finished my summer work last year in October and I’ve been playing full-time since. I also moved from my parents’ house three months ago in March with my girlfriend. I now have real expenses for the first time and I cannot handle the daily mtt downswings anymore, so I had to reduce variance. For the past two months, I’ve been playing almost exclusively low-stake mtts and sngs.

I first need to increase my volume. Hopefully this forum will help me find extra motivation to grind. Secondly, I need to exchange with players like you to analyze different situations. My good friend also plays full time, but since we've been playing together for a long time, we share very similar views. I would like to get different opinions, and hopefully we can improve each other's game.

I plan to play sngs during the week, have Saturday off, and grind mtts on Sunday for about 12hours. I will not fix goals in terms of profit, but rather in volume.

In sngs, I will mostly play 15$ 9-18 players and 3+ 180man. I like the vpps that I get from multitabling the 15$ and regarding the 3+, I like the tournament-like structure of starting with 3k chips instead of 1,500. It also has the advantage of paying a very small rake for the 10$ average buy-in (although I can make wayyy too many rebuys).

I will be posting a few hands to analyze tomorrow night. I will also add the profit/loss for the day.

Tomorrow’s plan.

Wake up at 7am, gym, …
9am: Start 15$/9-18plyrs 12-15 tables.
12:00 Dinner, 1h break
1pm: TPE video /february-live-grind-with-ben-kidcardiff6-warrington-part-2
while opening 3+/180man, 18 tables until 5pm in order to finish around 7pm

See you at the tables !
