Though I have been playing a little more live as I live in Calgary and the Stampede has arrived..as well as the fish. 

I just chopped a live $330 BI tourny for $4200 at Grey Eagle Casino in Calgary, AB.  Add that to my Bankrolls HP meter. 

I've run through 2 girls on tinder. Though the first one looked way different and fatter than her tinder pics.

Buttt I was already there so i said fuggit and did it anyways. haha.

I learned my lesson and got updated pictures from the 2nd one. Much better :).

Tinder game exp lvl 2 upgrade for sure. 

In terms of volume I have fallen slightly behind my goal of 500/month due to the live play but plan on capturing it still. 

I will update on that shortly.

Overall a good start to the month!! Not even close to quitting my job yet but this will help toward that goal!

Maybe you should start with smaller fields and not so many ppl mtts to reduce your variance. Just an advice.

Thanks sharkfish! I appreciate the advice, and have started to implement some smaller fields into my games. Definitely much less variance to deal with.

Hey Squall thanks I much appreciate it. I WAS on a $3000 BR but I just chopped a live tourny for $4200 so that will be added to the current bankroll. I was playing a little out of my means in some tournys so this should help me reduce a little variance as well..  Ifeel the higher stake tournies have much less av. people per tourny.

But that's okay it happens more often than not in MTT's. Just gotta push through and make good decisions. I have been recognizing some bad plays I was making though so that's a positive for sure. 

I was bluffing turns on some not so great cards for my range and getting called down with 2nd and 3rd pair. Then I would give up on the river.. That can't be +EV haha. So I will either check back the turn or bluff turn bluff river if its a good card.

So yeah... Anyways I have been adding some 180 mans into the mix of tournys I play to get a little more volume. So we will see how those go.

I'm 29 and live in Calgary, Canada. I love the game of poker for years. Have studied the game, read tons of books, and have remained a very close to breakeven player for years. I play everyday, about 10 tournys a day. However recently I have freed up some more time after ending a 5 year relationship with my girl. 

In comes my dream I've always wanted to chase. Playing TOURNAMENTS full time. large field tournies at that. YES i know its every persons dream in here. I work a full time job that allows my hours to stay extremely flexible for the time being. So it opens up the possiblity for many more games. 

      GOALS: 

• MINIMUM 500 MTT's a month. 
• Profit over 2500 sample
• Fuck up the world of poker
• LEAVE MY JOB & PLAY FULL TIME
• Run through girls on tinder
• Go from 170 to 190 15% BF

This is what I'm focusing on right now. That's it. No distractions. OCD style.

This has been running fairly pure for the most part but also getting fairly unlucky near the end to close these tournys out. Sure I made some mistakes and that's why I'm here. I have so much to learn. So much to improve on in my game and I can taste the point past breakeveness so bad. 

I will keep this thread updated with tourny wins, hands of question and random assortments of girls I run through on tinder. It would be cool if there were other extremely active threads here as well. I hope to make a few good friends along the way to talk poker with.  IVe never had any competent friends to do this with in my life!  Anways EZ!
