GLGL bro. I now you have Rivers Casino there in Pitt to start out with. Before you go to AC for the WSOPC, maybe you should try going to Parx outside of Philly for ANY of their BigStax series. They are simply the absolute best value w/ best structured tourneys in the US. No where in the us are you going to get $330 buyin. Start w/ 30k 45 minute levels unlimited rebuys. Almost all the 300 events get a huge prize pool WITHOUT a GTD.......... 1st is always in area of 80k-100k Plus, the Parx Poker room is nice, GREAT staff. Pro dealers, not traveling or rented dealers like the WSOPC uses at times. *I love the traveling dealers, its just to the new ones who we have to help that slow things up.

I would start there and move on. I used to love the WSOPC events, but their structures SUCK! 10k to start w/ 30 minute levels. Yea, it's fun, but if you get coolered....... it sucks and most times you can't rebuy.

I've always wanted to compete in a few tournaments at a Circuit stop. Over the years, lack of financial stability has kept me from both saving up & playing as much as I hoped. Now that life isn't nickel & dime-ing us to death, I can start playing live more often & building a bankroll. Starting with $500ish (based on prior winnings), I hope to play once a week in & around the 'Burgh. If i can get my barkroll around $3500 in six months, I'll take a long weekend in March to check out a Philly casino or two then head to AC to play a few preliminary Circuit events. Gotta study up!
