according to 2p2, about 1 meg per table per hour in terms of data, which seems ridiculously small, but i think its safe to say it wont chew up your quota

I just played a sng on my phone....very very good, as slick as you could want and option to multi table at least 4 tables. As predicted though sucked the life out of my battery and not sure how much of my mobiles monthly data allowance its using.

I just tried then. it sent me a text link to download the app, but then when it tried to link to the app store it said "the request could not be completed"

damn 🙁

the legality of online poker is kinda sketchy in australia, no australia based operation can provide poker, but in terms of overseas operations they basically say that they dont have the authority to shut them down (neither did the US but meh)

so i would think that hosting in the australian app store might qualify as australian based, so we might never see the pokerstars app.

all speculation of course, but thats my guess

From what I can gather it was released in Italy first, now the UK and soon the rest of Europe. Not seen anything definate but read on other forums that it will be a while before it reaches Australia

I was only told about this at my local casino tonight. Word was that it only worked on the iPhone/iPad but i have an Android phone (HTC Desire HD) and the app seems to have downloaded fine and i was able to browse the lobby, select tables etc

Has anyone had any experience playing with it? My HTC already needs charging every couple of hours so cant imagine i could have any decent type of session on the move but will be great to play a few SNGs here and there

Actually quite tempted to start looking for a nice tablet with a good battery to fill some of the many hours i spend doing nothing at the 9-5
