You are right of course, that there are some better structured tourneys. Picking and choosing across sites sounds like a fine plan for a session. overall I was have a frusting day and needed a vent! I probably had some unrealistic expectations as well about my improved game and success I was having elsewhere, thought I could bring it back to Stars lol....

I'll keep plugging away and working on the game....

i know your whingeing but your post is completely contradictory - you say that the structures are horrible then you say it takes 4 hours for a min cash.

still though, i know where you are coming from - the variance is much higher on stars for the micro games, but there are ways you can manage that. first is to play 180 man sngs. second is to play the non guaranteed games or the capped games which obviously have smaller field sizes.

i think in general you need a bigger bankroll to play on stars than on the smaller sites.

what i like do to is play across stars, 888 and party, and pick and choose the tournaments that suit me. that way i can taylor a session so i only play tournaments that i like playing. best of both worlds then.

Sorry US players this may sound like an ungrateful winge.....

How the hell does / did anybody ever make any money on PS at low to midstakes????????? recently tried a few sessions back on there and think I min cashed once maybe twice. Most of the time I might as well have put my money on the lottery. It seemed to me that the worse you played getting it in as bad as possible (2 or 3 outs, in one instance 1 out) the bigger your reward. Couldnt believe how bad some of the play was that I lost to. The standard structures are so awful that it s almost impossible to recover from a beat, not to mention playing for 4-6hrs to min cash. Apart from some of the Sunday majors dont think I'll be going back again anytime soon.

Winge over...but still compeletely bemused.
