well done on the score - as you have pointed out, the stacks get short near the end, but because the field is so soft it is really really easy to get into the last third of the tourney and give yourself a shot at making the cash. dont forget that because there are no antes in the tourney, 10bb in these games plays more like 15bb on stars/tilt. so adjust your play accordingly. 

this is especially important when you have 18bb or so around the bubble (which is 20 or 30 usually) becuase that is a top 10 chip stack in these tourneys, so the normal open shoving rules dont apply just yet. 

I registered on WSOP.com (not US friendly) ages ago but never bothered to deposit. After a few months they e-mailed me a free UK£25 (US$38) e-voucher to get me going. For the last couple of weeks I've been slowly grinding it up for a few minutes each day on hyper-turbo HU SnG tables using nash push/fold charts. As planned once I got it up to $100 I was ready to try a few small stakes MTTs. After this score in my very first tourney I now find myself with nearly $500 on the site. I'm pretty sure WSOP is on the same network as 888 where Bennymacca has reported finding soft fields elsewhere on this forum.

First hand back I doubled the shortie, called his button shove with my 99, he had QQ. Found myself 6/6, then won 2 flips in a row, my 77 holding v AJ and my AQ won a race against 66. HU match was only 15BB deep and lasted just 3 hands, lost a standard flip, my 55 shove called by TJ, flop TTx. Very happy with my debut on this network, the standard of play appears to be similar to UB at the low stakes.
