I believe that it might even be better in the micros where there are allot worse players. I don't doubt that you will get looked down lighter in the micros because of the players, but it is also still poker where KBs bet sizing can allow you to fold still and get away without being in a shove / crippled mode. I would say though bigdog theory is the best with 17 bigs your not raise folding and I think I am just getting it in here also.

Just my 2 cents.

I'll adjust my raise size pre from here on out. I just need to pick a standard at that level and raise the same amount every time.

I honestly just started to play with 2.5x again for the past little while.  I had been min raising when I get deep but I found that those raises were getting flatted to much, but I AM a big believer in what you guys teach ie lowering your raise sizes the deeper you get in MTTs. I think 2.5x is the MAX you should open without it being to big but perhaps i'm wrong there too 🙂
