You must excuse me sometimes I find myself using the TPE forums as my own social media account...or worse yet personal development blog!

In fact it got so bad I found myself constantly apologising for talking about everything under the sun in these forums (but still doing it anyway) that I had to start my own blog. Nobody reads it, I just spout bullshit to myself to get it off my chest! I don't think I even want anyone to read it tbh.

Just had assessment with DHL Air UK... Failed it. In talks with easyjet and Ryanair now. Who did you fly for?

If I pass assessment with easyjet I need to find £40 K for an AQC and TR for an A320. Which is why a score like you had in 2012 would be very appropriate right now! Otherwise it's a case of "mummy?". 

An old flight school acquaintance who is an experienced 767 pilot just had 2 (count them) detached retinas (retinae?), he is now driving a delivery van. Which is amusing to me cos I drive hgvs for a living. He says he prefers his new job.

Man, why does every commercial pilot I know except one hate their job? It's pretty off-putting to a low timer trying to get his foot in the door!

1. Yes, and no. I was a commercial pilot for past 12yrs, currently between jobs so playing fulltime, and honestly in no hurry to find another job right now.
