bascially i was disgusted at the stack sizes around me

i was down to around 5bigs with both super stacks to my left (2mill and 3mill respectively) and to my right there were 2 guys happy to blind themselves to death! literally blinding down until they had no more chips!

 

one interesting and quite pivotal hand for me;

 

blinds 60k/120k/12k

5handed on FT bubble

I'm i think chip leader with something like 1.8m

Super tight dude to my right has 700k

Im in SB with QsJs and BB has 600k stack

Tight guy on button limps which i think is weird, but i decide to flat, BB checks

Pot has 420k

Flop AsTsQd - Pretty much gin for me so i check hoping someone gets it in

Both villains check - hmmm must not have hit it very hard

 

Turn Qh - omg how much could i ask for! well i need to get SOMETHING for my monster so i decide to bet minimum 120k

 

BB folds and button only calls! leaving him with 460k. weird!

 

Pot 680k

 

River 9d

 

didnt change much but if he has a hand that can call the turn maybe he can call the river too. I bet minimum again 120k - he INSTA ships!

 

Wondering wtf is going on i click the call button to see him turn over 99 for a rivered boat!

 

i lol at myself for letting him get there but hey - i was like 94% on the flop and 95.5% on the turn so pfff

 

woulda had a huge chip advantage starting the FT but i'm hape with where i finished
