I believe your model has a VGA out, so you should be good. Just make sure the monitor you buy can handle a 60hz refresh rate because you could run into problems if you get a monitor that handles 120hz or faster. The video card in conjunction with that processor usually was 60hz. Most monitors handle multiple frequencies, but it is better to be safe than sorry.
