I used to look forward to them but now I look forward to the regular " Thinking poker podcast"

One last thing: I've used the "extra" time to add the Thinking Poker podcasts to my rotation. Less funny (but still funny) and more useful in a lot of ways, even if they do talk a lot of cash.

Same. Right down to having listened to all of them and then joining because of it a year ago.

(And I get it. If the site is successful despite fewer podcasts/perceived lower quality, then where is the incentive? I don't know how to incentivize TPE to have them make more podcasts. I don't mind how they've become more personal because I feel like I've gotten to know them over the years anyway, although how that attracts new players I don't know. The catalyst probably would be the decriminalization of poker in the US. The last thing I would want is to force them to do more podcasts and then they just mail it in. Kevin Smith has that problem now.)

Having listened to all the podcasts (literally all the podcasts) in the past couple of months now that I have a commute to work and its largely spent sat in traffic jams, I thought I'd give some feedback. I loved the early podcasts that focused on a specific topic, starting with early play and moving forward. They were definitely the most educational and were what 'hooked' me into TPE. As they moved on it definitely felt like they lost a bit of a focus, and became more like entertainment for following the latest goings on in the hosts/pros poker careers, and a bit of a boys club. I guess that's inevitable when everyone knows each other, but listening to the last few I definitely felt like a bit of an outsider looking in. I guess as the number has gone down it also felt like the frequency of WSOP preview shows was increasing 😉

Not a complaint at all. Just an encouragement that the early shows in particular were awesome and really value add.
