Any word on how far from launch? I realize I can get a jump on the curriculum...but would be cool with it up and running with the quizzes. Super pumped for this as it fits my style of learning perfectly.

no this is just kind of a sneak peak preview of what TPEU will look like from a ciriculum point of view and to take ideas and feed back from the tpe nation. We are currently working on the completion of all the related quizes but are still a couple weeks away from them being finished

At about 1 video a day during the week and maybe two on the weekends, it will take a couple weeks to finish at least the video parts.  

But I do love the idea. 

Maybe at the end have a full blown exam as well.  Making the certification really mean something.

Is it ready to start?  Will I be tracked or will we have to submit progress reports or something so we can be tracked?

hey JJ we are in the process of completing the Quizzes that correspond with each step, passing the quiz with a certain minimum % is the criteria for becoming TPE certified what you see here in the forum is just the rough outline for the programmer to build the final product, im glad that your as excited as we are and look forward to getting you on your way to certification

just another comment - It would be cool if there was some sort of way you could keep track of how many people are TPE certified. then they could get a special Forum title or something like that.
