Good solid early play….always enjoyable

Great vid. Say, do you always lower your preflop bet size to 2.5 x at 40/80, or is it dependent on the stack sizes around the table? If the former, what’s your thinking behind this?

The best part of this vid was the beginning. Structure study. I did a little of it about a couple months back, it can greatly decrease the variance that you will encounter. Just a heads up for people wanting to minimize variance, 888 and party 10 minute levels games are some most variance filled games that you’ll find. Keep kickin azz Danny.

Where are you from danny? nfld? lol

Thanks guys. I don’t always change there no. Depends on stacks and how deep we are. For example in the Sunday million I would more than likely keep 3xing at 40/80 10k start stack. Whatever you are comfortable with and what allows us to play more hands/ set up pots we can get full stacks in and what not.

Hey thanks! Yeah structure study is something I think a lot of people take for granted. If you know what type of hand ranges you can play at each stage of the tournament and what edges you need to push and when, it will really benefit your decision making process in game.

I am from Newfoundland yes.

Thanks for the series Danny. Question for the spot at 15.30 when you bet the turn with 88. I was thinking your turn bet doesn’t get called by to many worse hands especially when you size your bet a little bigger. Thoughts on checking back and making a river decision?
DannyN13
I like the bet because a flush draw will still call along with some pairs and combos that we have beat. It also lets us keep control of the action/ pot control without having to make a tough river decision if we check back turn and he bombs river.

ty danny, at 33min 910s vs kq, are u firing turn ever after he checked back showing weakness… feels like he whiffed instead of trapping, so theres an opening to fire?? great study and insights , appreciate your style
