I ran a sim of the AJo hand in PIO. Assuming my ranges are good, PIO thinks hero’s hand with the BDNFD is a mix between call and raise. AJ with no diamond is strictly a fold; AJ with Jack of diamonds is mostly a call, some raises as well. With hero’s exact hand we have about 35% equity. The AJ no flush draw hands have something like 29% equity, which is better than the pot odds offered, but not good enough from an Equity Realization point of view.
