At time 35:23, begood9999 shoves a 100,000 stack or 6.25bb stack from the SB. What is your calling range from the BB since he was a much tighter player?

You have 7d10c in the hand and a 48bb stack.

I really love your style and how you comment about image and villain’s ranges. keep those vids coming!!

Awesome posts! Your comment is great and I like that you keep the one tournament bigger and have your main focus on that one. This way there were no dull moments, but also not to much distraction from your thoughts on all the hands and the players.

    Keep ’em coming 🙂

when 1hit1der 4 bet jams like 25-26bb i think its gotta be a call. He’s jamming much worse, and you do fine against his range. I would think that he 4 balls 88+ and aq+ at least. maybe aj. Knowing he’s a good player, why are we 3 betting if we plan to fold? we are basically turning jj into a bluff because we should never expect him to flat oop. other than that great vid!

whats the point of squeezing JJ if u dont want call original raisers 4bet AI? of if u plan squeeze and fold to ship, then maybe u could make it smaller then like 38k or smth? or if ur plan was playing post flop then smaller squeeze size better for that plan. if u fold there it looks like u wasted good hand even if u are flipping hes shipping TT also i think maybe even 99, u could squeeze then with 27o there better (the same result). sry for critic, still gg and nice run in Merge, GL

As he explained in his podcast, he knows he should be calling here 100%. He leveled himself into folding. His thinking was that he saw that his squeeze was such an obvious spot that he can be light alot of the times, that my range couldn’t possibly be as wide as it really was (he was flipping at best in his mind). I can guarantee that now days he would have his mouse hovered over the all in button clicking 100 mph in this spot against me..

You’ll also see in his next video(11 rebuy), if its posted, he adjust his ranges against me alot better..

“we are basically turning jj into a bluff because we should never expect him to flat oop.” That’s interesting. You just taught me several things at once, haha. I didn’t realize the phrase turning what could be the better hand into a bluff meant you intended to fold to pressure.

Thx Riv. I am really enjoying and learning from your videos. Congrats on all your recent success and especially on taking down the HR! Nice to see that when someone puts in the time and work that it pays off. Gives me hope 🙂
