Entertaining chemistry! I enjoyed it, and although there are few really interesting spots in this video I don’t really mind since i’d rather see every bit than just highlight. I’m really looking forward to the next parts!

I agree with the audio comment, and it’s kinda a general problem with most of TPE videos, although it’s kinda okey, it would be really nice if there was put some focus on getting decent microphones as it gets tiresome listening to poor audio over time.

I have a head set guys the audio always sucks on these 2 man reviews because the sound has to go through 1 computer for camtasia even tho were in 2 different places. We will work on it for the next few series. Sorry 🙁 wish it was better.

Personally bigdog and dipthrong could be talking through broken megaphones and I would still watch these vids– fantastic stuff!

Love the video guys, especially when the two of you don’t always agree on spots and will debate your thought processes. Also some solid entertainment value as well.

With regards to: ATo 19bb deep in the HJ, and AJo 18bb in EP, these are some good points to discuss. I hate raise/folding on less than 20 bigs as well and will pretty much never do it either. The problem with ripping hands like AT-AJ, or something like 55-88 is that aren’t we getting absolutely crushed by a range that can call? I don’t play 1ks, but I would imagine most are going to call AQ+/TT+. In discussing these spots with some 2p2ers, the consensus is that these should be a fold until more shallow.

Dipthrong mentioned the AT shove being +EV for mathematical reasons.. what is the math on that, I would like to see how wide we can be shoving there if it is indeed profitable.

Good to hear the the thoughts on all stages of a tournament from great players. Good discussion on shoving vs raising and raise/folding. You guys work really well together for a dual commentary.

I probably fold the AT and shove the AJ especially if I dont think I can get through the blinds again before they go up. Im only really scared of KK,QQ,AK,AQ. That’s 4 hands and I have blockers to some of the combos. Plus, I am going to double around 30% of the time when called which will be rare. If I run into AA or JJ, then it’s a cooler and not worth discussing.

I dont understand the argument for raise folding AJ with 18bb. You’re never going to double up and out of the danger zone if you dont put you chips in with non premiums some times.

audio doesn’t always suck on 2 man reviews. check deucescracked.com for example .. they are doing 2 or 3 man videos on a regular basis for years now and the audio is always A+ .. it’s just a matter of using the right tools (software & hardware)

that being said: well played so far and I can’t wait for the rest of the series

Some questionable opens and flats in this one. At one point we flat 66 like 30 bb effective pre-antes or with tiny antes – I think this is a fold.

We open some small pairs that should probably be folds based on our stack size and opening position. Of course, one of the ones that should have been a fold had us flopping quads and getting 2 streets of value somehow.

The 87cc hand was just really bad all around so I’m glad that was discussed in the video. It’s just a fold on that flop.

Absolute Poker had a scam around 2007 where certain players were getting access to other players hole cards. I’m pretty sure Absolute payed out a large amount of money to rectify (over 1m I believe)
