I've heard good things and am thinking of buying it. Can anyone offer a recommendation? Or is it just another text to throw on the pile… seems like I'm getting more out of this forum than through reading hardcopy. With the exception of Kill Everyone and Pearl Jammer et al's two volumes!
I some of the thought processes of elky in it. It concludes really good the different opinions and styles of him and the other authors
on special spots.
Tony “Bond_18” is also one of the co authors, which is a good line up.
Think that book should be a must read so far.
Hope the coloured stats section at the end is good to handle.

OfflineI started reading this book and I like it. I have always been a tight player and I think that is my biggest leak, this book is opening my eyes to playing more LAG. I will write more once I finish it, but I think this will really add to my game and my trip to Vegas in November.

Offlinejust bought the book, so in a few weeks ill be able to start commenting
this will be my next read for sure.
Benny, as an Aussie, I HIGHLY recommend a book by your fellow Aussie, Lee Nielson's “Kill Everyone”.
Winning Poker Tournaments by Pearljammer, Rizen, and Apestyles was a good read too. it is essentially a lengthy hand history
of tournament they have won, but it is cool to see 3 completely different playing styles working, with sound thought process behind every play.

the raiser's edge is co-authored by lee nelson as well, though because elky is such a boss i think he gets first billing on this book
