UGH, so I am new, and unaware this could even happen. Its the end of the Add on period, level 8, and I get a message on my screen that says the tourney was cancelled and we would be refunded. 147 entries and 223 rebuys is $882 +$1338 which is MORE than the $2k GTD figure. Why would they do this? Oh, it was on ACR.

yaeh, i was deep in the $10K GTD when it happened. You will get a refund based on your chip count…but it still sucks obv.

i have had it happen on stars, 888 and tilt before. it happens. very rarely on those sites at least

Why does it happen though? I'm curious to know. I mean i know that tourneys get cancelled before it starts because of the lack of entrants, but mid way through one?! Why?

Good question. Especially since there was an overlay.
