OfflineWhat up Nation-
This is a spot we find ourselves in a number of times late in a tourney or near the bubble.
In a hypothetical (I know that it is always player dependent), what is the bottom of your calling range vs a tagish villain (lets say 20/15) open shove of 15bb, and we have @20-30bb? I know that this is a rather broad question, but these are the spots that define a min cash vs a win I would say my range for calling is 88+, AJss+….Is this to tight/loose, or should I be calling with smaller pocket pairs down to 66?
Any and all feedback would be great!

OfflineTheres no real set range, it depends on too much. Someone shoving 15bb UTG is not shoving the same range as 15bb OTB thus our calling range changes. My calling range does not change when regarding our stack size but only the effective stack size which in this case would be 15bbs, unless we will be commited by players behind us for our entire stack if thats the case then I would work out the required equity for our whole stack (30bb?) oppose to just the 15bb shoving stack. Would highly reccomend checking out sngwiz to understand calling/shoving ranges better.
