watched this hand live today at PCA High Roller.

Philbort(Phillip Gruissem) snap-called off for his tournament life after Negreanu 4 bet jammed this flop.

Would really like thoughts on ranging, stack sizes & math, and why having a plan is so important.

Daniel Negreanu opened to 42,000 from the cutoff, Philipp Gruissem defended his big blind, and the dealer fanned {2-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} {4-Spades} . Gruissem checked, Negreanu fired 50,000, and Gruissem check-raised to 135,000. Negreanu moved all in for 450,000, and Gruissem called.

Gruissem: {7-Hearts} {7-Spades}

Negreanu was pleasantly surprised that he wasn't crushed, but he didn't connect with the turn ( {10-Spades} ), or the river ( {4-Hearts} ). Kid Poker hit the rail, while Gruissem is up to one million chips.
