I have pocket 2’s with 10 bigs on the button.
UTG raises to 3X BB….Do i push all in at this point with pocket 2’s?
I folded my hand and wonder if that was the right thing to do
This is a pretty clear cut fold.
We have no fold equity, so we want a hand that plays well against an UTG opener… 22 does not fall into that category. With ten big blinds and no antes, I’m folding 77 and lower from our position. I’d much rather be open shoving in late position with any two that put my tournament life on the line with pocket deuces here.
