with 27 players remaining we redraw our seats and in the second hand after redraw the blinds are at 4000/8000 ante 1k utg has 40bb and opens for 25k he has just got his chips a few hands previous so im confident hes trying to put something together with a wide range it folds around to highjack who 3 bets to 80K on what appears to be a 35bb stack and i have zero info and no reads on villain, i have 33bb and i look down at QQ whats my play??

Doubt I can fold QQ here… but the dude who's 3 betting shouldn't be folding.
I am not sure on bet sizing in live MTTs. But to me the three bet is large for someone in position on the original raiser. Seems like a 99 to JJ mebbe AQo kind of hand. He could be seeing the utg raise like you do and is trying to steal. I myself could not take it and would jam QQ here. Sticky spot but seems like it is a good time to get em in and gamble for a really good stack.
All in all here live experience would be very valuable.

i do shove and the initial raiser folds and 3 bettor snap calls with AKdd. Hello Q on flop and sweating a gutter and villain dont get there.

why would you make this assumption that hes putting something together with a 3.1x or whatever utg raise here with a wide range?
just read your post it looks like you got it in against the AK portion of the {AK-QQ-AA-KK} and held nice 😀
i have a hard time believing that the 3bettor is 3betting that size with 99-JJ and agree with ryan that he's in the neighborhood of QQ+, AK. add to that the initial raiser left to act and us having a decent stack deep in a soft, well-structured live event and i like a fold.
