If I use the BTN for 'unread posts' as expected it brings up a list of the posts I've not read since last logging in. If I then go and read some posts but dont reply to any it keeps track of the ones I've not read, all good so far. However, if I then decided to reply to a post I've accessed through this route, and it takes me a little time to write the reply, it dumps the list of post that I have not actually looked at yet. So i then have to go hunting for the rest of the posts I hadn't yet read.

yeah its “unread posts since the last refresh” not really unread posts.
