At about 20:00, are you ever valuebetting here on the river? Like given that villain checks back on turn he is just giving up or has weak sdv, we block a bit of his Kx range and the heart draw missed? Also since he is tight he probably isn’t very likely to bluff the river after the turn check but that doesn’t mean he folds any valuerange (=pps, QJ, AK(?), KJ) if we lead.

Sry for multiposting, like given that he is tight I guess he might be checking back a king ott but I think his valuerange is still more leaned to those pps and QJ after the turn check.

at 28 minutes, with 44 on the 345dd board, what are your thoughts on min raising flop v this particular player? its super unbalanced but equally he cant hand read or range at all so probably stations with a bunch of his A high hands and all draws/overpairs/5x. plus it sets up a really attractive SPR on the turn where we give him such good odds we may get him to call off with A/K high

There isn’t enough worse hands that can call IMO and there is too many KJ/AK in his range . Also our range looks pretty strong here, The only hands we get to river that miss are FL draws. We don’t need to block bet either since we can happily just c/f river IMO.

it’s insane how good your videos are. such a deep thinking about ranges and metagame. I also like how you show every hand during a HH review to get a feel for the styles of different villains and the history. most HH reviews on TPE just focus on the hands that hero plays without knowing a thing about the villain
