agree, pretty good vid. I liked the ranging for value bets aspect. I prefer these type of theory vids to the live sweats, they are more engaging (less dead time).

Concept of the video was very good along with your analysis/thoughts. One suggestion is just prep more. The one time you were factoring in things because it was a rebuy tourney, but then figured out it wasn’t. Also, taking time to figure out the trny’s as your doing the video wastes time.

Just some constructive criticism as I would def like to see you do another one.

At the end of the video – I mentioned how I didn’t have enough time to collect the hands and analyze them as much as I normally do. Usually when doing theory, I just play with a topic in mind and collect them as I play over a few month period. In this situation, one of other pros had issues uploading his theory video, so I stepped in to make sure we had one.

I still think the quality was very good and am proud of my work. If I wasn’t proud of it, I wouldn’t have posted it.

Just went back and watched this again. Great job Jon really got alot out of it. I took some notes on how you start to narrow their ranges based on things such as how tight or loose they are pre-flop, their bet size pre, the board texture and how their actions relate…great video would love to see a part two. It does not have to be any more ‘advanced’ just more examples to hammer home the concepts. Great job!!!

Thank you wein thought this was a good introduction to the subject of hand reading theory need more videos like this for people like myself who are still learning at an elementary level .

Great video. I personally like how it was basic. You didn’t go into HUD or a bunch of math, it was purely narrowing down basic ranges. This to me is more what happens at the live tables…. you don’t have a HUD or access to all the calculators. You need to evaluate the situation, the betting and the board to determine where you sit. Great video for beginners and intermediate re: narrowing down ranges to a couple of combos. Good job and I look forward to your next video.
