  1. Mr Longhit

    43:54 in BB w/ A9o.
Why do you guys think that is a fold?
The short stack shoves his 10bb from the BTN. What range would you expect him to shove in that spot?
Sholdnt we take any +cEV spot vs the shortest stack here?

I would expect BTN to shove this range: 22+,A2s+,K5s+,Q7s+,J8s+,T9s,98s,87s,A2o+,K7o+,Q9o+,JTo
Against that range A9o has 53,36% and should be a clear call.

We only need 43,5% to call. So even whit a tighter range, we still have to call here.

I would call this in a vacuum, but there is some incentive for us to play tighter than cEV due to normal ICM pressures as well as the fact that these guys are doing a good job of busting each other and giving me walks. I’d rather not take the risk.

I’d have more of a decision with a hand like ATs though. Probably make a crying call with that one.

I haven’t rewatched lately, but maybe I’d noticed that he hadn’t been shoving many hands from the button as well. I definitely wouldn’t fault anyone for making the call though. I’m just a nit.

in the start Andrew says the biggest stacks have 3-4 times more than carlos i assume he means combined as the biggest stack has only almost 2 times more than Carlos? Amazing review btw! Me being almost as tight as Carlos and having alot of the same mindset as him this hand review is one of the reviews that ive learned the most from ever. Great job guys and congrats to Carlos 🙂
