Thanks again for this Ben really appreciate it. Especially after the 1st part i defo 100% agree i played like a total donk.
I remeber not fully concentrating on the Q9 hand as i was multi-tabling and i was really annoyed at the way i played it, and that kinda put me on tilt and i just played BAD.
But once i got my stack back up i thought to myself now i have a 2nd chance to really focus and try play my best.

    Davey,
You re welcome mate. Yeah you did have a shaky start, however you played better and better as each part went on.. It´s been a pleasure to review and i hope to the viewers enjoy the series,

Watched the first 23 minutes, and to be fair I don’t see why TPE is doing a HH review of this guy. He clearly isn’t taking the game seriously by open shipping 50 bigs with no antes, and open folding 99 when he misses the turn. I would suggest you do reviews of people who actually take the game seriously in the future.

Moizt.. I appreciate your concern. However, before i started the video I did mention the fact, and a few times afterwards, that Davey didn´t play very well at the beginning. You have commented on my videos before and so do you think that I´m going to be reviewing somebodys HH that isn´t taking the tournament seriously?

Agree that some of the plays in part one were not very good, but he goes on to get very very deep in this tourney and the play gets a lot better. We wouldn’t have released it if we didn’t think that the content itself is quality. In addition, Ben is at his table for a while in the later parts which is another reason we chose this one.

This is a WCOOP $215, that many of you viewers play that Daveyt86 made the FT. He plays a fantastic tournament and we have a chance to review not just the early stages, but the early-mid , mid, mid- late, and very late stages that of a tournament that many of you viewers play.

Yeah Ben, I’m a big fan of your vids, but you gotta understand that when I see some of the tilt-plays he makes throughout this part, that I’m doubting if it’s worth anyones time to be studying the hand history. If you say it’s going to get a lot better in later parts, I’ll be sure to watch them, I just wasn’t impressed by this part.

Yeh, there’s about a 5 sec difference between the audio and video (at least on the iPad version).
Interested to see how Davey turns it around. He’s made a few really deep runs in massive field tourneys, so obviously he does something right in these.

I’m sure that members can learn from watching bad play as well as good play. Even if it is obvious it demonstrates that poker players tilt and reinforces that we need to work on it at all times.

I feel the Q9s hand at 12min should really just be a fold on the flop, we very really have the best hand and its worth noting that there are virtually no good turn cards for us, even a BDFD would make me more ok with calling flop, as we are really just drawing to a 9 to be able to continue on the turn imo.

    29min, KK
I kind of just want to flat, It gives the opener attractive odds to either flat or 4bet and creates and SPR of around 2.2ish, which is still easy enough to keep worse in put opponents in spots where they have to call off. although our flatting range looks pretty nutted so im not sure if thats really transparent.

I agree there were some very poor plays ..Sounds like he improves massively later. However, we are all learning the game so i reckon we shouldn’t be too harsh, much better to give sound advice to the guy for these early mistakes, rather than purely criticize him. Anyway, great commentary from Ben, who suggests much better plays which should help us all.
    Ps. When’s part 2 online ?

  13. duggs

now, videos are released monday, tuesday, thursday and friday. I’m not really in on the know but usually series alternate each release, so part 3 should be released tuesday, and part 4 friday and so on

I agree with you. One of the things I like about member HH reviews is that I get to see some mistakes and can learn from them. I learn just as much from watching the mistakes as I do from the pros, maybe more. Because when a mistake is made they explain why it was a bad play. When watching the pros there aren’t that many mistakes for me to learn from.
