Thats exactly what i was thinking with the A8 vs AA hand. I knew pokerfan was very agg and i thought he thought i had the perfect stack to 3-bet as its either a shove or fold. I thought i was ahead of his 3-bet range (also could get A9, A10 & AJ to fold with a shove) and with only 25bb behind i didnt want him to keep bullying so i made the shove and got very lucky.

KidC, First of all great vid as usual. Now for my question…

Do you think a better line on the river @ 43/44 mins with AKo would be to bet 35-50k on the riv as a sort of blockish/value bet. Lets you know where u are in the hand better on the riv if he raises. I mean if its an unknown (which he is) raising on the riv you gota think ur beat. I know he bet 150 k so its a clear fold there but what happens if we check and he bets 70-80k…I guess its still a fold. But rather bet fold than check call?

This is great to watch for me, particularly since I sweated and hung out with Davey in chat most of the second day, including the whole last two hours.

Sick spot there at the end with A8>AA! I totally get Davey’s shove, just bad timing. Awesome run out there. You gotta get lucky at some time during the game if you are going to make a deep run. Sometimes a scare like that can help you make adjustments, too.

Can’t wait for the rest of this.

Hi van, thanks for your comments.
Thing is @ this spot.. its very hard for our opponent to have Ax without having two pairs. We can´t really get value from worse imo. So i think check/fold , or check/call is the best option here

i dont like the 108ss hand @2:30, i dont understand why we want to jam turn and fold out all his air? Kx isnt going to fold, all we achieve is getting it in v flush draws, sets, Kx and folding out all his air rather than calling and letting him bluff brick rivers

    Duggs..
´i dont understand why we want to jam turn and fold out all his air?
This statement is true, but you need to know when to apply it and when in fact it becomes less important. Take into account three things when´
    – how much is in the pot compared to how much effective stacks are behind
    – how susceptible your hand is to be being outdrawn
-how likely villain will bluff a third barrell.

When you consider those three details, plus the fact we always want to be facilitating decision making, and a river spot could be really ugly, I Feel like in this case, shoving is by far a better option than calling
