Q6s hand…wow. When he 4bets you what was your thinking about his range? And what’s your 5bet range there?

Great video dude, so happy that we’re only halfway through the series. Lots more to come I’m sure.

Great vid series. That hand with mindtrickyou was legendary bigdog. MindTrickYou must have been gagging when he realized he was about to lose so much of his stack. Can’t wait for the next vid!

Now, the only thing left is to get Panda to do a HH of his journey to that table.

I really hate the Q6s hand. Sure, you look like a genius but I think you just got lucky. You weren’t 3betting at all so you should get some respect .. MindTrickYou also hasn’t 4bet yet which makes his range even stronger.

I’m all for having reads and going with it .. but there seemed to be no prior history to support your actions. It looked more like a “I feel like making a move”-play and praying that it works out.

He probably had AK and played it perfectly..

Other than that hand, great video guys!!!

I new this comment was coming from somebody. I agree with what you said. However I dont get out of line like this that often and this was a absolutely key hand for me if I dont play this hand im out as you will see I get very short quickly so I needed these chips. Sometimes its ok (to just make a move). Clearly not recommending playing q6 like this everytime you get it. But I think its perfectly fine to get way out of line sometimes. When it works it helps you win and when it doesnt work you build on the im a huge spew image that gets you paid when you do have hands. Playing every pot mathamatically correctly will only get you so far.

    thanks for replying bigdog!

you were mentioning in the video that you will probably talk about this hand at the end of the series. I hope that is still coming .. or maybe we can start a thread and you can talk about the reasons.

I don’t have the results that you do to criticize your play .. but I think even for a pure move there has to be a mathematical reason. Doesn’t matter if it is because villain isn’t representing much, or you know from experience that the first 4bet is a move 80% of the time, or if you were just balancing your range in a spot were you should only have strong value hands.

Anyway..maybe you can talk about that hand on the next podcast? It’s def not a standard hand and could result in some great discussions…

Black, I think the reason bigdogs wins as much as he does, is because of his pure instinct knowing when hes able to make big plays, such as this one. I think from his opponents eyes he pretty much polarized BigDogs range to a monster with the hood flat, and villain might have check folded a better hand than u think.. still was great timing on the move, and i think the really small3bet was instrumental in inducing a 4bet from mindtrick, and so being able to hoodflat more comfortably.

While the content is GREAT, gotta give props to RonFezBuddy for the outstanding editing! Really awesome to get a glimpse into the minds of both players thought processes on the same hands from opposing positions. Just awesome!

This serie is really great, i hoped to see some magic and this video made me happy.
I don’t know if this series ends with a couple of hand analysis but i think that Q6s worthed a lot. MindTrickYou showed a lot of spewy clues before and i think that was just a perfect timing and some needed love to gamble and risks.

I see a video like this and cringe at how much I still have to learn to be anywhere near the level of these guys. That table was a shark tank.

Hi, great video series! In the last hand in this video you were going to open with KJs if it folded round to you but dev209 doubled the big blind from early position with a short-ish stack. Did you fold because you were giving him credit for a big hand as he’d probably be committing his stack at this stage , or because the implied odds weren’t that great?

    Thanks
