Hey bigdog, love the vid, I always prefer 1 table, new to the site & have a ton to learn…….so fI like 1 table & more details about each move is what I look for…….
would like to see a vid on a summary of “common mistakes” and
    a summary of “strategic moves”
    keep up the good work
PS how are u doing at PCA

The 99 hand seems really bad.

My first thought is to just fold especially seeing you guys dont really have any dynamic yet. He is committed himself to 4 of the remaining 6 players stack sizes and really should never be folding when he 3bets here given his stack size and positions, so hes like never light here.

However when we decide to peel, which I dont agree with- but isnt terrible, jamming the flop has to be the worst thing. It allows him to play perfectly, he will fold all hands we beat except maybe 66/77 (which I dont Im not sure are even in his range ,because he might just jam or fold those pre or he might fold those when we jam on the flop). I think we should check here and hope he puts in more money when hes behind with overs because when we donk shove we are almost never getting called when were ahead

Addon to above, the only other hand he will call flop when we jam is AhKh or AhQh or AhJh which if I am not mistaken we are a dog to anyways

^^^ so we are check/calling the flop? What do we do on the turn? Also, how would you have played the hand differently? Fold to the 3bet pre?

Bigdog, at 19:13 when you blind bet the flop with the nuts, you said “you like to play against this type of player” but never explained what that type is. Why are you opening blind against him? What did you think his range was?

Gotta say this hand had me puzzled. Not even sure I would be peeling given the villans stack. I am still robotic but my instint would be to push or fold. Just interesting to hear a world class player say he doesnt fancy flipping and will peel to continue on ‘friendly’ flops. I was always under the impression that was the wrong way to approach spots like this with effective stacks so shallow…?

Big dog… watching this little controversy here I would love to give u an idea for a vid… talk about play vs different stack sizes in threebet pots with small to medium pocket pairs. I hear you talk a lot about not been flop dependent when u flat a small pocket pair preflop and this 99 hand I did not like ur call pre… I woulda 4bet called or shoved instead….. otherwise just folding given we dont have much info on this guy except he hadnt play much up to this point based on the vid… now maybe u had history with him or something who knows…by the same token… in a vid before i see u call a big raise from some mid to small stack with 55… in pos… flat his big bet on A high dry flop… then checking around to beat with 64o or 68o I cannot remember… I think it was in the vid before this one…. Anyways just confused overall with small to mid pocket pairs
