At 17:00 or so, you were asking about how to check if it was final or final two. You were 7-handed before the combine so I’m pretty sure you are now at final two tables. It would have been 5-handed for a while before final table.

I love how you explain why picking up chips in spots others don’t is so important and definitely something I need to work on. When you ran AK into KK, you still had ~50BB left instead of a 20BB shove stack. It made a huge difference in the rest of the tourney.

At 14min you 3bet the hijack’s open with 56o on the button but you don’t mention the fact that the big blind has a 3.5bb stack. Doesn’t that make this 3bet questionable considering how often you are going to be exposed since the bb should be just be putting it in and you are left with 56 against his entire range?

Watched this vid yesterday afternoon and took 4th in the Sat Speedway later last night.( no apology for blatant wee brag!) Had a wee score last weekend too after watching your last one. Thanks for helping me learn to open out my naturally super nitty game and go with my gut more often.Looking for good spots instead of just worrying about good cards has helped my game massively. Thanks again Big Dog.

should actually look really strong to the original opener then, since the original opener (if he sees this fact) will have to know that bigdog is willing to play his hand face-up against the BBs random hand. the original opener’s (presumably) dead money would help juice the pot up a bit and give bigdog a better price despite likely being behind the BBs random hand.

luckily for him the BB folded as well!

You said in previous videos 99 is a hand never looses at PS. Now you said 77 is also a hand never looses at PS.

Tonight I lost 99 VS AK… Please don´t try to confuse us 🙂

Sorry, but why don’t you take 30 seconds before making a video series and run a sharkscope to remind yourself of who was at your FT so you can accurately describe how many tables left???

At 11 mins you min 3 bet with AK from blinds v button instead of your normal 2.5X 3 bet size. Any reason as could be exploitable ?

I’ve never seen someone play the final two tables so many times! ; )

As is true of all the videos in this series, the play and commentary are excellent. But I found the honesty of the commentary particularly interesting–to express when you thought you played a hand poorly, or when you think you were feeling on tilt or just wanting to make the final table. The description of the emotional turbulence just made it that much better. Great video.
