You mention making weird plays and taking down pots other people wouldn’t a couple times. Over the course of the series it shows how big of a difference it makes and I’ve decided I need to work on that part of my game. I happened to look bigdog up on sharkscope and you play a lot of heads up tournaments on the revolution network. I think that’s a way to get experience playing post flop in a tournament setting since you will be seeing a lot more flops per hour than regular tournaments. It’s a way to work on that one aspect of my game to make me a better MTT player.

    huge congrats on your run!
you have a personality, thats what separates you from a lot of mediocre regs. love the not always logical thinking, but feel that you bring to the game like the 99 and 77 that flops good on stars etc… that is just being honest .

Thanks Bigdog for a brilliant series. In four years of reading books and studying poker, this is by far the most informative information I have ever seen on how to approach MMTs.You are so stack size aware of you own stack and that of your opponents.
I chuckled to myself at the way on the final table, you folded your way up the money ladder and into a chop.It is all about changing gears and you are a master at it. Well done sir.

Fantastic series BigDog!! Series like this along with the other series TPE pros produce is why this is the best mtt training site in the world, and why I’ve been a member for almost two years! Congrats again and keep CRUSHING!!!

I’ve been wathing these since I joined just before Black Friday, and I learn something new from you every time! Thanks so much for taking the time and effort to do this, it has improved my game 1000%. As I write this, I am at yet another FT (only a 10K guarantee, since us US players are limited), and I owe the vast majority of my success over the past year plus to you!

Thanks for the over whelming support I received on this series. I know I made some mistakes along the way but thats all part of the game. 🙂 I enjoyed the fact that most of you enjoyed the series.

Love the K9 jam after chop starts getting discussed. No one wants to bust here. What do you think that dude’s range should be there for calling your jam?

If the situation was reversed what would your own calling range be? Same or different?

  8. HoneyBakedPiglet

Thank you for the reply! For a part time player, what do you recommend for practicing post flop play in tournaments since I can’t do a 30 tournament schedule regularly?

  9. duggs

good series, had enough interesting hands to justify a review vid by itself, let alone the fact its the sunday milly and you chop it.

+1 to the K9 jam being epic.

shorter handed what do you change with your cbetting range?

  10. W1ispher

no sunday million chops for weeks now…what has happened to your game bigdogs? lol…..look forward to seeing your next million ft…sooner the better .

Î think playing 6max cash game is a really good option for that. U have lots of post flop play, lots of action und you can play as short or as long as u wish.

  12. GaryLQ

Superb series, well player Casey, very honest and insightful. While it’s true you ran golden in some key all-in spots on the way I still think 99%+ of players wouldn’t have final-tabled and made the chop had they been in your seat that day.

Yo big D , gr8 to watch part 7 , I have 1 question for ya so i hope you read this for a reply…

you open a lot of pots with a suited ace, if you get called with some1 same size stack and you flop flush draw ,if you c bet and get 3bet are you always getting it in your your tournament life on a draw or would you flat the 3bet and evaluate turn?? or would you check raise flop ? etc … i tend you just play flush draw conservatory but maybe i should change i dunno m hope u can reply big D think your gr8 player and sound guy )))

Hey bro. There is not 1 single answer to this question. It depends on alot of different things. If im extreamly deep im less likely to get it all in even if we have the same stacks. But if its shallow I might choose to get it all in and hope to hit. It also depends on the tourney and the table. If I feel like im dominating and there are alot of soft spots I may choose to flat and play it conservatively because I know I can pick up other chips. So its a tough question to answer.

CASE! Sick series! I remember when the 8 hit on the FT bubble. I was dancing around my room with excitement for ya. QUESTION: Would it ever make sense to sharkscope the remaining players to see profits, as to specifically target players who are really nitting it up for $ jumps? Or are stack sizes and ICM way more important?

Thanks a lot for this, really interesting stuff that you touched on, hope I can incorporate it into my game and start scoopin a few better results.

    bigdog is the boss!!

Great job on this video series. I just joined today and watched the whole series, huge headache but worth it. This will defiantly help my game huge and help me open more pots in critical times. I thought I was the only one with getting dealt shit….. I was wrong again…. lol
This has changed my attitude and am now going to take poker more seriously. Thanks Big Dogg !!!!

Thank you very much Casey. I came to TPE from Cardrunners because you guys are exclusively MTTs. These were the first videos I watched.

Congratulations on your success! I wish you many more. Maybe you can do 3 in a row? Hahaha

I am in Las Vegas every year for the WSOP. I would like to meet you.

I have a great affection for 74 suited in BB too, it has won me a lot of huge pots. I dont play it stupidly but it has become my hand. Just doesnt seem to work for me much online.
Loved all your commentary, after hearing you say 99 is a great hand on stars I picked up 99 in the tournament i was playing at the same time… yeah nah didnt work for me with ;/
Lot of this stuff is hit or miss, I noticed I do very well with A10 and then on rare occasion not so well, like you i get a gut feeling on hands. thank you so much for this series, I know it helped 🙂

  21. pilton14

Meh……………………..just kidding great to watch such a confident player, not only helps with the poker nitty gritty but helps instill confidence as well big up thank you.

  22. BionicApe

Entertaining and educational. Great series, big grats on your back to back chops. Perhaps I missed it, but did Stackam end up taking it down? Anyone know?

  23. JoStylin

Fantastic series. I enjoy your videos more than any other pro. Clear, simple to understand while at the same time demonstrating top level play.

  24. Superb0er

Great series! Really love seeing the thought process that Bigdog uses during his plays. Only complaint about the series is that he spoils the action so often. Would have loved to sweat it without knowing what happens and who he chops with before the time. Anyway, great videos and cant wait to dive into what else TPE has to offer.

  25. peggyhill37

great run big dog! i remember watching this replay with Nick Wealthall back in the day when stars produced those… Sunday million is a magical event, you should be proud
