Loving the video so far! It’s great to see where some of my mistakes are coming from.

As for my comment on the K5 hand. It’s a little hard to remember but I believe I had some history on that guy. I seen him in another tournament overbet the pot before on a draw before so I decided to over shove his bet. I probably could have just 3x his bet but i figured he is not going anywhere on a draw.

The play in this tournament is pretty bad at times. It makes it confusing sometimes on what to do like in the hand with AK and there was a 6x raise utg and 1 caller.

hey man definitely enjoyed reviewing your hand history. Hopefully it has helped to see some different opinions in spots. Any questions just let me know.

regarding the K5 hand, without history the range i assign is A4/Axdd/KQdd/66-99/sets/44/random combo draws. its worth noting that best case scenario he has a solid draw, worst case scenario we are drawing virtually dead, Im not in love with the shove, I probably float and evaluate to further action, obv history can dictate deviations from that (some players i would jam, alot of players i would snap fold etc etc)

I feel like a nit but Id snap fold the K5o vs Q5o. I dont think hes overbeting too strong made hands there but any draw has so much equity against us (i.e flush draws has also 2 live cards most of the time)

Id say without seeing the showdown its a slightly ahead/way behind situation, where hes gonna bet huge pretty much any turn and we are almost never not gonna improve our hand.

Haven’t plugged in equity calc. but if he is semi bluffing 66-88ish, which clearly he would if he’s doing it w Q5, along w flush draws, which for the most part are gonna have 2 overs it seems like a bad call.. Thoughts?

Hand 103, I believe it was, the AK… Had a semi similar situation just last night… Big diff is I had 35bb effective, and had position… Open was 4x as well and 1 call behind as well and we had AK… I ended up shoving it… But I’m wondering if flatting isn’t a slightly better play? Also, if flop comes Q high, or bunky board what’s the plan oop (bet/fold?)? I can see both sides of the argument if someone can maybe answer a couple questions..

    1) As played should we be shoving this pre? What are the arguments for and against?

    2) Actually I’ll post my hand in the forums. Responses would be appreciated…

    Great vid!
