I think the biggest leak in this game from a spazz nit is uh….3 bet. If I knew how to 3bet properly, i think it would be in the arsenal which is in there now. Thanks Dan for the update of the 3 bet.

I have no history of norcal83 nor getting this deep often. I am a new poker player just started and now have turned the aggression considerably since this play. The 3 bet is definitely in my game now.

This is a great HH for me and will be liked by anyone that has joined the site just getting into TPE for the first time and really shows how to step up aggression exponentially.

I am relating to your tilt for seeing this back. I am tilting watching it. It is like a bad yearbook picture looking back at it. I have notes upon notes. Thanks for hedging through this. It is helpful. Thanks for your time in this video.

Hey swhitelex…kudos for your great attitude on this. It’s not easy to hear the criticism but trust me, as the subject of the stick it to the man series, it makes you a much better player.

i am so happy for the opportunity to have a HH done from an aggro like Dan. It was great work and he did an excellent job. I am looking forward to the final video.

the tournament was played last month and I am growing and learning on TPE and have already closed up some of these leaks. the CBet was the first leak of when to cbet, when not too and balancing ranges, that sort of thing already. I learned more 3bet opportunities on this video.

I am planning on the main event on the Bovada $55.00 buyin tournament Contender series and will maximize my aggression with 3bet and cbet and let’s see me in the sweat threads this sunday.

I was wondering about the TT hand were you Ko’d 2 people. There was not much talk about it other than “good chip up”.

Is this a super standard call? Obviously if the SB folds im calling the guys 10bb shove with TT no problem, but after the SB shoves with 20bb are we just hoping that if we beat the SB and lose to the OG shover that we are breaking even and could potentially win a big pot?

Hey whats up lex, definitely taking it well. Wasn’t meant to bash just looking at the HH and looking at different spots. You definitely need to be open to criticism in poker, helps games hte most. The TT hand is fairly standard, the 10 bb jam range is real wide, which wides up the SB’s over shove range quite a bit and tens fair well against that range.

Also, any questions I am here to answer, just shoot me a PM or ask it here. Had a good time going over this HH lex, hope you do well in the Bovada and can use some of the stuff I presented here.

I got a lot out of this vid, thanks. Well done Lex for opening yourself up to general critique. We share similar exploitable tendencies, and this vid demonstrated 3 bet spots perfectly.

Other reasons to be 3 betting norcal so often. 1. you have really only been showing down super strong hands giving you one hell of an image. 2. By the time you pick up that hand, norcal is expecting a 3 bet with the motive to 4 bet you light if you do indeed 3 bet. Now we’re scooping a huge pot pre flop with our monster or we are getting him to shove way behind pre for a monster stack.

i have quite a few final tables with Norcal..He’s a very good player btw, n a good buddy. i have about 2000 hands on him. and steve as far as your 3betting is concerned and your cbetting. I know u and I talked a little bit, and Im sure your headed in the right direction. But don’t be hard on yourself when things go wrong and u get knocked out earlier then usual.Remember were trying to win, not cash! It’s a learning curve, and u are at the right place. U can’t teach hundreds of thousands of hands, so remember that. Just keep registering. Keep playing, hand ranging, studying, trial and error, and eventually it all will become 2nd nature! good luck buddy. PS Bourbon nice analyses. your a beast
