Hi Colin. great to have you aboard! Please can you explain again, the implied odds needed to call a raise with a small pair. Re 20/1

Thanks Haydock! Yes 20:1 is a good default guideline, which would mean for example that if an opponent min-raises to $200 at $50-$100, you would want the effective stack to be at least $4000 to setmine. But there are plenty of times to modify this, for example if your opponent plays poorly postflop or the pot is multiway, you can often profitably call with worse implied odds … sometimes as low as around 12:1.

such an informative video, thx for your teachings How aggressive should we be to hunt a bounty? Against a big bounty, say 2 or 3 times the buy in or more, how loose should be?

Thanks 888. Good question, if it’s not the start of the tourney or FT, the best approach is to start with your range in a normal tourney, and then widen according to the size of the bounty. There are examples in the videos, if you have another hand in mind you’re welcome to post it here or in the forums and I’d be happy to take a look.

Hi Collin, Great video! I’m new to tournaments. You said that at 22bb you can now have a min raising range. At what point would you say that your only option is to shove or fold? Thanks!!
