At the 33:10 mark you opened on the button J7s and flatted a 3 bet. You said you were active and he could be playing back with KT and with it being the FT bubble you can put pressure on him post. Given that exact situation I don’t you should ever flat. If he felt you were light and wanted to play back with a hand like KT or a small pair he would probably shove. When he 3b for 30% of his starting stack he is really really strong (almost) always and he is (almost) never ever ever folding post flop.

hhaha i love when people use the “awful” word…thanks for your opinion but how about you just stay in your box, and i’ll keep thinking out of mine…best of luck having the same strategy as everyone else homie

Making a -EV play in one hand may be +EV (like 4x-ing to fold when you have odds to make the call) if you are using it as part of a multi-hand strategy. This is really what meta-game and table dynamics are in a mathematical sense even though it’s harder to quantify. I do, however agree with JD that the J7s call was a mistake – spr was <1 on flop so we are basically fit or fold and a bit in the dark (even with position) which is not good, but no one is perfect; I love your vids Cory, you are honest, likable and make me think, a great addition to the likes of Jace and Brokos and it can only be good to verse ourselves with as many opponent styles as possible. Thanks for putting yourself out there!

your strategy pre final table/bubble was so amazing ryan, srry to see some less informed members making dumb comments. You are playing a different game to those guys ( and me also of course). I learnt heaps and your comments are fun

    Please make more vids Ryan
